Experience the Eighth Edition of Laval’s Musical Zones with Over 350 Renowned and Emerging Artists

From August 9th to 27th, the Musical Zones of the City of Laval will be back for an eighth edition. This free and unifying event brings together over 350 renowned and emerging artists. What’s on the agenda? Large-scale shows and intimate concerts presented in eight zones located in the heart of Laval’s parks, riverbanks, and public squares.

Presented by TD Bank Group, these Musical Zones offer an incursion into a musical universe with a thousand colors. All musical styles are represented: from folk to pop, from classical music to world music, from jazz to soul, not to mention rock, rap, traditional, country, and more. There’s certainly something to satisfy every taste.

Among the artists who will be performing on one or another of the stages of these “musical zones,” notable names include Diane Tell, known for her soulful voice and hit songs like “Si j’étais un homme”; Daniel Boucher, a celebrated singer-songwriter with a unique blend of folk and rock influences; Simon Kearney, a rising star in the pop music scene with his catchy melodies and heartfelt lyrics; Shauit, recipient of various awards, including the RIDEAU and RADARTS awards, an Indigenous artist who combines reggae, hip-hop, and traditional Innu sounds; Scott Pien-Picard, an acclaimed singer-songwriter and activist promoting Indigenous rights; Thierry Larose, a talented musician whose pop touches are sure to please, known for his virtuosity and improvisation skills; Ariane Roy, a captivating folk singer-songwriter with a poetic touch; and Salomé Leclerc, an award-winning artist recognized for her beautiful compositions and captivating performances.
